✦Terms of use

The rules, plainly.

Last updated: 29 September 2026

Hithra is a private, invite-only messenger for a circle of friends, run by the person who operates its server (the operator). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms. How your data is handled is in the privacy policy. Questions: [email protected].

Your account

What you send

What you send stays yours. You allow the operator to store and deliver it only as far as that is needed to run Hithra for you and the people you chat with. Only send what you have the right to share.

What is not allowed

You can block people and report messages or people from their chat. The operator may remove content or close accounts that break these rules, telling the person why where that is possible, and shares information with the authorities only where the law requires it.

A beta, provided as it is

Hithra is in beta: on iPhone through Apple's TestFlight, on Android as a download from hithra.com. Features change, things can break, and the service may be interrupted or, one day, end; if so, you will be told in the app in advance where possible. Don't keep Hithra as the only copy of anything important. As far as the law allows, Hithra comes without warranties, and the operator is not liable for indirect losses, lost data or lost profits. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law where you live.

Leaving

You can delete your account whenever you like, in Settings → Account → Delete account; the privacy policy explains what that removes. Using Hithra on iPhone is also subject to Apple's terms for TestFlight and the App Store.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version is published on this page with a new date. Using Hithra after that means you accept it.
