01Everything, in one place
Everything you do with friends lives in one calm, fast app — built for a few dozen people who actually know each other, not a billion strangers.
Messages land in real time, work without signal and sync the moment you're back. Replies, reactions, edits, photos, videos and voice notes, in groups or one-on-one, all end-to-end encrypted. Send a photo that opens just once, and see what a message says right in its notification, though the server never could.
Share your live location with one chat for 15 minutes, an hour, eight hours or until you stop. Only that chat sees you move, next to its meetups, and the map does the "where are you?" texts.
End-to-end encrypted, one-on-one or with the whole group, ringing right on your lock screen. Video fills the screen, groups get a grid, and the call follows you out of the app in a small window. Blur your background, switch to Bluetooth in a tap, share your screen from Android.

02Privacy, plainly
Messages, photos, videos, voice notes, files and calls are end-to-end encrypted: your phone seals them before they leave, and only the people in the chat can open them. Not even your group's server can read them, notifications included, and nobody mines, sells or trains on your chats.
No one joins without a code from someone inside. Block, report or leave in a tap, and delete your account from the app whenever you want.
Straight talk: plans and shared costs and your profile aren't end-to-end encrypted (they have to work for the whole chat). Calls are end to end once everyone in the chat has Hithra 1.4, and reactions, votes, live location and Moments once everyone has 1.5; with someone on an older version they're readable on the server, and so are messages sent before Hithra 1.3 until they're wiped. Whoever runs your server can technically access those, which is why it should be someone your group trusts. Read the privacy policy
03Getting in
A friend already on Hithra sends you a link or an SP-XXXX-XXXX code straight from the app.
On Android, download it right here. On iPhone, join the beta through Apple's TestFlight. On a computer, open hithra.com/web and link it from your phone.
Sign up with your code, pick a photo, and your friends are already waiting in the chat.
